At SL EDU, we strive to provide high-quality educational resources and services. We understand that sometimes things don't work out as expected. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

2. Digital Products (PDF Documents)

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds for digital products (PDF documents) may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to download or access the purchased document due to technical issues on our end
  • Incorrect Product: If you received a product that is significantly different from what was described
  • Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice
  • Corrupted Files: If the downloaded file is corrupted and cannot be opened
2.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after successful download
  • Failure to read product description before purchase
  • Compatibility issues with your device (all PDFs are in standard format)
  • After 14 days from the date of purchase
  • If you have violated our Terms of Service
2.3 Refund Timeframe for Digital Products

Refund requests for digital products must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Subscription Services

3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Access continues until the end of the paid period
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
  • Refunds available within 30 days of purchase if less than 20% of content has been accessed
  • Pro-rated refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances
  • No refunds after 30 days from purchase date

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your order ID or transaction reference number
  3. Provide a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund
  4. Attach any relevant screenshots or documentation

Our support team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.

5. Refund Processing

5.1 Approved Refunds

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days from approval
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
  • Bank processing may take an additional 3-7 business days
5.2 Payment Gateway Fees

Please note that payment gateway fees (charged by PayHere or other payment processors) are non-refundable. The refund amount may be adjusted to account for transaction fees.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Order Cancellation
  • Before Download: You may cancel your order before downloading the product for a full refund
  • After Download: Cancellations are subject to the refund policy outlined above
  • Processing Orders: Orders being processed can be cancelled for a full refund
6.2 Subscription Cancellation
  • Log in to your account and go to "Account Settings"
  • Navigate to "Subscription" section
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Confirm cancellation
  • You will receive a confirmation email

7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We may consider refund requests outside of our standard policy in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Death of the account holder
  • Extended service outages caused by us
  • Fraud or unauthorized transactions

Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Fraudulent Refund Requests

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we believe to be fraudulent or abusive. Repeated refund requests or patterns of abuse may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Chargeback Policy

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence to your financial institution. Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension.

Please contact us first to resolve any payment issues before initiating a chargeback.

10. Changes to Products After Purchase

If we make significant changes to a product after you have purchased it, we may offer:

  • Free updated version of the product
  • Partial refund if the changes negatively impact the value
  • Full refund if the product is discontinued

11. Non-Delivery

If you have not received your product within 24 hours of purchase and it is not available in your account:

  • Check your spam/junk folder for the delivery email
  • Check your account's "My Purchases" section
  • Contact our support team immediately
  • We will either deliver the product or issue a full refund
